Woman Arrested for Misusing Credit Card

The following information was supplied by the Merrimack Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Nashua woman was charged with theft of lost or mislaid property after fraudulently using a credit card left behind at her place of employment.

Ennovi Burgos, 19, of 10 Hanover St., Nashua, turned herself in on July 27 for using a debit card for her own purposes after a customer accidentally left it behind on July 11.

The woman who left the card had presented it to an employee at a local drive-through restaurant and left without getting her card back, police say.

On July 12, the woman realized she didn't have her card and realized she'd left it at the restaurant. When she called an employee said they had her card. However, while at home, the victim received a call from her credit card company's fraud division, alerting her to a purchase she didn't make, police say.

It was determined that Burgos had used the card and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

She was released on $750 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in court on Aug. 23.
