A look out the Outlets in progress since July.

It's been a long process since project managers for the Merrimack Premium Outlets first came to ask Merrimack to entertain the idea of the expansive, high-end shopping center back in 2004.

After seven years, the mall with a four-day grand opening celebration that is expected to draw 25,000 cars a day during the first weekend, June 14-17.

Though the mall was granted approval in 2008, ground was not broken until September of 2010.

project managers permitted media access on the site to observe the project as buildings were beginning to take shape. In the months since, project updates have contained photos of progress along the way, and on Friday, Merrimack Community Development Director Tim Thompson sent Patch photos from a site walk last week.

We've put together a package photos of the site progress from July, January and March.
