LETTER: Peterson, Notter Deserve Your Vote

Gary Krupp urges support of two reps who've scored well on NH GOP report cards

To the Editor,

Tuesday's Primary is right around the corner and Republicans are fortunate to have such a strong slate of candidates for the State House. There are two candidates, however, that stand above the rest. Lenette Peterson and Jeanine Notter are a pair of Representatives running for re-election and I whole-heartedly endorse them both.

Not only do I personally know them to be good Americans who faithfully represent the residents of Merrimack, but also I note that their voting records have netted them the support of many conservative and liberty groups around the state. Jeanine and Lenette have been endorsed by both the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance and the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire attesting to their consistent votes favoring individual liberty, low taxes and smaller government. The New Hampshire Firearms Coalition gives Lenette an A+ and Jeanine a B+ for their records leading and supporting Second Amendment legislation. Lenette scored a perfect 100 and Jenine a 97.37 on Cornerstone Action's voter scorecard demonstrating their strong support for traditional family values. And New Hampshire Families For Education gave both candidates an A+ for their stances supporting high quality education for New Hampshire's youth.

Many candidates do well with some of the groups I've listed but it is rare to have representatives that score so well across the board. We have two stellar candidates and I urge you to join me in supporting them with your vote on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
