Hands down it has to be Strikeback Dynamic Self Defense. My grandson has been going there for 8 years & is working towards his 3rd degree. My daughter is almost a 1st degree black belt. I also have another grandson who is half way to his black belt. The owners truly care about their students. They are dedicated to making sure their students are truly capable of defending themselves with confidence. This studio is one big happy extended family who truly come together to help each other through the good and the bad. We recommend Strikeback to everyone. You will NOT be disappointed.

Hands down Strikeback gets my vote. As a father and grandfather to three of thier students. I couldn't be more proud of what they have learned and accomplished during thier years there. The instructors truly care about thier students. They teach from ages 5 & up, they offer weapons class, sparring class,as well as cardio/kickboxing. They also have several students with disabilities that are doing very well. I would highly reccommend anyone looking to get in shape or wanting to learn to defend themselves especially the ladies to check them out. You will not be disappointed

Strikeback is definatley the best dojo in the area. You couldn't ask for better instrucors than Shihan Bill Spinney & Sensei Lisa Pombrio.

Strikeback gets my vote. The owners/instructors are amazing. They may not graduate as many black belts as the other schools but they do graduate quality black belts. They have had so many students come in from other schools that got black belts from other schools that didn't know how to defend themselves. It's really a shame to give some one a flase sense of secuirity like that. With strikeback you get quality training it may take you a little longer to reach the level of black belt but at least you'll know that when you do you truly deserve the rank and walk around with head held high with full confidence that you can protect yourself and your loved ones. I'd give it a 10 out of 10 stars.

I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile. I went to other places and stood there for a several minutes before even being noticed. They make you feel welcome and the kids just LOVE him and the rest of the staff. After class, Shawn was talking to a parent and one of his students just went up and hugged him...for no reason. Yup, there is really no comparison! This is THE place :)

Shaolin Adapting Fist Kung Fu. Not only does Sifu Nate instruct students of all ages in Kung Fu and Tai Chi, he also shares some of the culture and philosophy behind the martial arts. Several weeks ago the studio had an open house which included a traditional Lion Dance for the New Year, and he even explained the reasons for the different movements and aspects of the dance. My son's self-confidence and ability to focus have blossomed since he started taking classes with Sifu Nate.

Hands down the best. Fantastic material that can be broken down step by step and everything explained. Not a lot of instructors can actually explain what you are doing and more importantly, why!

Not only is Sifu Nates material the best in the area, his entire philosophy behind his martial arts training is evident, both in talking to him as well as his students. The learning enviroment is unmatched. Everyone is accepted and equal.

I have been training in various systems of martial arts for 24 years now. I recently moved to NH and was looking for something different than what I currently train in. I went and tried out every school in the area. I will not deminish anyone specific but lets just say there are some definite frauds out there. There is no school in the area that even comes close to giving you exactly what martial training is about. Everything from the physical aspects, to the mental understanding as well as the knowledge to become a better person is found at Shaolin Adapting Fist Kung-Fu. Sifu Nate gets my vote for sure!

Fun, friendly atmosphere with classes ranging from small children, to kids, to teens/adults. My son started in the kid's class. After watching him for a bit, and seeing the quality of the instruction, I decided to join the adults class. We are both very happy.

Sifu Nate and Sifu Zac are highly skilled martial artists with experience in real life self defense (there is a difference). It's very rare to get instructors who were trained old school like they where. I feel very lucky.

There's a reason Sifu Nate doesn't have contracts or fees to advance. Check it out and see for yourself.

The instructors are very caring and patient with all of the children, they are able to work differently with each child according to his/hers learning style. My sons, in their 20's, just love it. I have attended their Chinese New Year celebration for the past two years. I was extremely impressed by the ceremonial lion dance, and the kung fu demonstrations that followed. This studio is friendly and focused and provides a rich learning environment for students of all ages.

Starting as a complete beginner welcoming atmosphere and calming nature of Sifu Nate at Shaolin Adapting Fist Kung Fu has helped me to learn how to relax,and begin to calm myself and alleviate my anxiety through Tai chi and Qi gong.I would definitely recommend going to Shaolin Adapting Fist Kung Fu.you have my vote!

Shaolin Adapting Fist Kung Fu is the place to train. Sifu Nate teaches each student at their level and speed. Able to adapt to whatever style you have trained in before. The Tai Chi and Chi Kung has been very helpful in dealing with anxiety, stress, and depression. Thank you SIfu Nate!!
