Which Was the Best Super Bowl Commercial?

How did this year's commercials stack up to past year's ad spots?

Last night's Super Bowl, the most watched television event of the year, featured a great game of football, a rematch of the New York Giants and the New England Patriots, who met in 2008 at the end of the 2007 season.

In case you haven't heard, the Giants routed the Patriots, again, in a 21-17 victory that could have ended very differently if one of the Patriots receivers had caught a Hail Mary pass thrown by quarterback Tom Brady in the final seconds of the game.

Meanwhile, for many people, the Super Bowl is not just about the game, or for that matter, not even about the game, but about the commercials that are notorious for being funny, creative, outrageous or some combination of each.

We think the first half of the game was the winning half in terms of the best commercials. Would you agree? How did they stack up to years past? Let us know in the comments and while you're here, vote in our poll and let us know which was your favorite of the game.
