As a mother of three you must also believe that women don't deserve equal pay for equal work. Scott Read MoreBrown voted against this the last time he was in office.

LEN, As a mother of three girls I do believe in equality. However, I don't need the governmentRead Morestan ding in for me to stick up for what I believe. For many years I was a highly paid individual making more than most of the men I worked with and now I am a stay at home Mom. However that was my choice. I still believe in Scott Brown as a man of integrity.

I'm glad to see you have done well but there are a lot of people that haven't been that fortunate. Read MoreI do believe that Scott Brown is a good person. But I also believe he is someone who will say anything or move any were to get elected Scott ran as an independent candidate in Massachusetts, then when elected he voted with the republican party 92% of the time, maybe that is why he never got re-elected. If he was going to vote as a republican then maybe he should have been honest an ran as a republican. So when you talk about integrity maybe you should take a better look at who your talking about. I believe the term CARPETBAGGER applies.

Danielle, if you ever see this happening again I hope you'll consider calling Town Hall to reportRead Moreit . No one likes to be a complainer, but clearly someone has to re-program the sprinkler system or something. You're absolutely right that the town should set a good example. (If you don't want to call, just post it here and someone will call.)

Hi Danielle: I reached out to the Town Manager who reached out to the DPW Director. Just so youRead Moreknow , we do have rain guards on the Town Hall system so it shuts off automatically. Without knowing which site you saw being watered, I was told that the only system that could have been on was at Abbie Griffin. This will be turned off today. Please note, that the Town waters Town Hall and Abbie Griffin on even days as our physical address is 6 Baboosic Lake Rd. Like Debra Huffman stated, please don't hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. The Town Manager's office number is 603-424-2331, or, you can go to merrimacknh.gov to send her an email. I hope this is helpful. Have a great week and enjoy your summer. Bill

Russ, Thank you for enlightening those who are not paying attention. Agreements formed over yearsRead Morean d years have disintegrated our good paying jobs. Our very sovereignty is in peril with the WTO as the judge, jury, and executioner. If our Constitution is the greatest document since the Magna Carta, why aren't our three branches of government defending it? Are they complicit or are they ignorant. Our citizens must pay attention and vote the issues, not the personalities. I just hope it is not too late. Thanks again.
Russell Lee Payne June 02, 2014 at 09:03 AM
Hello Patrick: Thank you for your kind words. Here I offer some thoughts about two great AmericansRead Moref rom our state who lived their lives unnoticed by most Americans in unselfish honesty and dedication to our nation while those authors of government corruption their activism in the public arena worked to expose were treated with headlines of praise. I have been indeed honored in knowing both the late Alan Thomaier and the Late State Rep., Lt. Col. Robert Kingsbury. Both were men of action in their intense desire to defend and protect our nation from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. It mattered not their accomplished status in office, if politicians in their evaluation betrayed their oath to obey the Constitution of the United States or the principles of the Declaration of Independence, then exposing this government corruption that brought dishonor to public office was their mission, followed by action to remove such disloyalty from office. It is tragic that such passion, love and Christian patriotism of both these men when compared to politicians who wave the flag on Memorial Day and Independence Day: is treated with "silence", while the corruption and disloyalty of our elected officials are covered up with "headlines of praise." For our leaders cannot be "patriots" when sworn to allegiance to the Constitution of the United States, and then betray this oath by working to destroy these documents with Free Trade Agreements such as NAFTA and the new in-process secretly negotiated Agreements called The Transpacific Partnership (TPP) and the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) which are in fact, "Controlled Trade" with an underlying purpose to destroy American sovereignty. For the most part, the silence of our systems of communication about the life of service to our nation of men like Alan and Bob is deafening: yet the "headline makers" glorify those who advocate corruption and dishonesty, violating their oath of office to the Constitutions they are to sworn to protect and defend. Once there were men like Alan Thomaier and Bob Kingsbury: may God give us more like them. Russ Payne
