How Much Snow Will Merrimack Get?

Major snow storm on the way: Merrimack area residents will have to get ready to dig out of another snow storm that may leave 8- to 12 inches of snow in its wake by the time it winds down on Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Kids head back to school Thursday: Despite the forecast that is calling for a big snow storm, Merrimack school kids are scheduled to head back to class on Thursday, Jan. 2.

Ice rink open: If you are looking for a fun winter activity on the last day of 2013, a.k.a. New Year's Eve, the town Recreation Department announced last week the ice rink has reopened for the season.
