And read more about Whole Foods, art camp, fall childcare enrollment and today's weather in our morning news and notes.

Welcome to Merrimack. Merrimack's new Assistant Planner had her first day on the job on Tuesday, Aug. 13. Please help Patch in welcoming Donna Pohli to the town staff. Pohli comes to Merrimack from the planning department in Dover. She obtained her bachelors of science and her masters in public administration from the University of New Hampshire. Pohli said she was drawn to Merrimack because she likes the area, the new development in town and what the job offers. "She impressed us from the moment she came in to meet us," said Tim Thompson, community development director. Thompson said she outperformed their other finalist who had several more years experience in the field. In her free time, Pohli said she likes to quilt, hike and travel. Welcome, Donna!

Weather watch.
So all the rain predicted for Tuesday barely arrived, but we're OK with that. Especially because today's forecast sets the stage for several beautiful days in a row. Today calls for sunny skies with a high near 76. Tonight, clear with a low around 50.
