Flash Flood Watch Called

Rain could fall at 1-2 inches per hour.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch from 11 a.m. Monday through midnight tonight with the forecast calling for heavy rain this afternoon and evening.

In New Hampshire, there is a risk of flash flooding in Hillsborough County and Cheshire County, from Manchester south to Amherst and Nashua, according to the forecast.

The National Weather Service advises people to keep an eye on forecasts.

Local rainfall could be 1- to 2- inches per hour.
