Merrimack Fireworks Postponed Until July 6

The annual fireworks display is now Sunday evening, but the Fourth of July parade will be Friday as planned.

Merrimack's fireworks display is being postponed until Sunday, July 6.

The Merrimack Police Department just sent out a notice that the fireworks will be on Sunday evening, which was the pre-established rain date.

The Fourth of July Rotary Club pancake breakfast (8-11 a.m.) and Sparkler 5K, as well as the parade (1 p.m.) on Friday, will go on as scheduled – rain or shine.

The Merrimack Concert Association's Independence Day concert will go on tonight, July 3, as planned from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. but it is being moved to Merrimack High School.

The Merrimack Rotary Family Fun Day is now Sunday, July 6, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
