More Snow on the Way

The Merrimack and Amherst area could see 1- to 3 inches of snow on Thursday afternoon and evening.

For Merrimack area residents who plan to do some holiday traveling on Thursday to either head home or visit loved ones, they may have to deal with some snow, according to WMUR.

The television news station reported on Wednesday that the Merrimack Valley could see anywhere from 1- to 3 inches of snow fall. The National Weather Service in Gray, Maine said the white precipitation will begin sometime in the mid- to late afternoon and continue into Thursday night.

The National Weather Service is also predicting the region could get hit with more snow on Saturday and Sunday when another low press system approaches from the south and cold temperatures stick around.
