What's Open and Closed in Merrimack on Thanksgiving

Here's a look at what is open and closed for Thanksgiving.

Merrimack Public Library:

The library is closing early on Wednesday, at 5 p.m. It will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and re-open Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Merrimack Town Offices:

The Town Offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29. They will re-open Monday for regular hours, which can be found, by department, here.

Transfer Station:

The transfer station will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will re-open for regular hours on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Merrimack Post Office:

The post office will be closed Thanksgiving Day, but re-opens Friday.

Shaw's Supermarkets:

Need some last minute Thanksgiving items? Burn the turkey and need to start over (don't do that!), both Shaw's Supermarkets on Daniel Webster Highway and Continental Boulevard will be open for abbreviated hours from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

Merrimack YMCA:

Want to get in a workout before your big meal? The Merrimack YMCA will be open from 8 a.m.-noon.

Cinemagic:

Want to catch a flick after you've had your meal. There are plenty to choose from at Cinemagic. Skip the lines and crowded theaters. Get movie listings for Thursday here.

The Merrimack Premium Outlets:

The Outlets will be closed during the day, but Black Friday shopping starts tonight. Stores will be opening at different times throughout the night starting at 6 p.m. Get more information here.
