CONCORD, NH, ISSUED APRIL 28, 2014… LifeLine Ambulance Service (www.lifelineamb.com), New England’s fastest growing ambulance service and healthcare service/transportation provider, announced that Don Welford of Laconia, NH has been named to the position of Vice President & New Hampshire Division Manager for the company’s New Hampshire Division.

Brian Connor, founder and CEO said, “We are honored to have Don Welford in this new role. Don will oversee LifeLine’s entire New Hampshire Operation, which currently consists of five separate offices throughout the State, providing service to more than 20 nursing homes and seven hospitals.   In addition, Don will maintain relationships with the company’s existing clients and work to acquire new business relationships with skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, healthcare facilities and municipalities.”

 

LifeLine’s New Hampshire Corporate headquarters is located in Concord, with additional offices in Laconia, Merrimack, North Hampton, and Somersworth.

 

Welford is the previous owner of R.T.S. Enterprises, an advertising specialty company that serviced the ambulance industry through promotional and marketing products.

 

He is a graduate of Boston State College and received his Master’s Degree from Salem State College.

 

Welford served as the Head Coach for NHTI (New Hampshire Technical Institute) Soccer Team for a number of  years and is currently a member of the Athletic Board of NHTI.  Welford is also active volunteer with “Got Lunch”, a Laconia-based program that provides lunches for eligible children during the summer months. 

 

Welford lives in Laconia, NH with Karen, his wife of 44 years.  They have two grown children and are the proud grandparents of twins. 

 

Connor said, “Don’s business background, marketing acumen and keen knowledge and understanding of the ambulance industry will be invaluable as he oversees our services and serves as the liaison and business development contact between LifeLine and clients throughout our New Hampshire service areas.”
