Where is Santa? Follow His Route Today

Website allows families to check in on the jolly man dressed in red and track him while he travels on Christmas Eve.

Their wish lists have been made, their photos have been taken with the big guy and cookies and carrots are at the ready for Santa and his reindeer, but do your children ever ask: Where does Santa go on Christmas Eve? How does he travel to everyone's house?

Now you can show them, thanks to the folks behind North American Aerospace Defense Command website that is tracking Santa for families all over the world.

Last week your children got their phone calls from Santa; today, let them follow his progress around the world as he delivers gifts to boys and girls around the globe.

In addition to tracking Santa's whereabouts, there is plenty to do at NORAD's Santa-tracking website. Check out the Kids' Countdown Village where there are  two dozen games to play.

Not near a computer today? NORAD's Santa Tracker is mobile, too. Download the Android or iPhone app and let your kids track Santa from your phone.

Additional ways to track Santa? Follow NORAD on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.

Merry Christmas and have fun!
