Merrimack Men's Slo-Pitch Softball

The tryout dates for the Merrimack Men's Slo-Pitch Softball League have been changed due to the condition of the playing fields in town.  The tryout day and Annual League Draft will now take place on Saturday, April 19th at the American Legion Field at 43 Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack at 10:00am.  There will be an additional tryout day on Wednesday, April 16th at 6:00pm at the same location for people who cannot attend on the 19th. The league, which plays on Monday and Wednesday evenings from late April through mid-September at Martel and Twardosky fields in Merrimack, continues to look for players to fill out its team rosters. To be eligible to join the league, men must be at least 18 years of age, must not currently be attending high school, and must either live or work in Merrimack. The league currently has players that range in age from 18 to 70+. Players are placed on league teams through a draft process aimed at maintaining competitive balance in the league.
