22nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Wasserman Park

The Merrimack Parks and Recreation Department, and Merrimack Friends & Families will welcome the children of Merrimack to the 22nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Wasserman Park on Saturday, April 19. This rain or shine event for Merrimack residents only begins at 10:00 a.m. for children ages 2-10.

Starting at 10 a.m. in the Function Hall, Merrimack Friends and Families will be selling a variety of delicious baked goods and beverages, with all proceeds going to their Charitable Fund. The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures, as always. Remember your camera and best smiles! Donations will be accepted with thanks.

The Easter Bunny will have areas of Wasserman Park set up for various age groups. There will be a Toddler Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 2 and 3 at 11 a.m. Other areas of the park will be set up for children ages 4 and 5 at 11:15 a.m., children ages 6 and 7 at 11:30 a.m., and children ages 8-10 at 11:45 a.m. Please allow enough time to find the appropriate area for your child’s age group. Volunteers will be ready to assist you.

For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, only those parents of toddlers and children with special needs may assist their children onto the field to find eggs. You will need to bring a basket or container of some kind for your treasures. After the hunt, head back to the Function Hall for baked goodies, warm beverages, a chance to redeem prizes (if you’re so lucky to find an egg with a prize slip inside), and another opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny.
