OBITUARY: Lawrence M. Gouthro, 67

Lawrence M. Gouthro, 67, of Merrimack, NH died Thursday August 9, 2012 in Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua after a long illness.

He was born in Somerville, MA on February 6, 1945, son of the late Ernest and Eleanor (O’Keefe) Gouthro. Mr. Gouthro graduated from St. Clement’s High School in Somerville in 1962, and then went on to graduate from Boston College with a B.S. in Finance in 1968. He moved to Merrimack in 1974.

He was the beloved husband of Donna (Lenihan) Gouthro. Loving father to Marc and his wife Eileen Brusseau of Nashua; Liane and her husband Martin Cassavoy of Melrose, MA; Brian and his wife Sara of Wilmington, MA; and Thomas and his wife Leslie, of Morrisville, NC. Cherished grandfather of Bennett, Margaret, Andrew, Nolan, Eleanor, Thomas Jr., Emily, and Owen.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. at St John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road (Route 101A), Merrimack, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.
