75-Year-Old Man Arrested After Dispute with Plow Driver

Menahem Lowy reportedly stood in front of a plow truck, refusing to move, after he said the plow driver plowed snow across the entry to his driveway.

A 75-year-old Merrimack man was arrested on Tuesday after a dispute with a plow driver.

Menahem Lowy of 13 Mountain View Drive is charged with disorderly conduct. He was released Tuesday on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack on March 11.

According to Merrimack Police, they received a report at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday from a Merrimack Public Works plow driver concerning a man standing in the road blocking the plow truck. Upon arrival, the officers met with Lowy outside his driveway. He was complaining about the plow operator plowing snow across the entry to his driveway.

The plow operator said Lowy stood in front of the plow truck, refusing to move until police arrived.
