Arrest Log: Teen Charged With Pot Possession at MHS

The following information was provided by Merrimack Police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested Karlee Borden, 17, of 4 Walden Drive, Merrimack, on Thursday, Oct. 24, on one count of possession of a controlled drug – marijuana. Merrimack Police say they were called to the high school for students possibly under the influence. Officers met with school officials and the involved students. Following a brief investigation, one student, Borden, was found to be in possession of marijuana. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending her arraignment in Merrimack district court on Nov.12.

  • Gregory Kloo, 43, of 8 Aspen Lane, Merrimack, was charged with criminal mischief. Police say on Oct. 9 they received a criminal mischief complaint of a vehicle with slashed tires parked on Shore Drive. Through a brief investigation, Kloo was identified as the suspect at which time an arrest warrant was completed. Kloo turned himself into the Merrimack Police Department on Oct. 22. He was later released on $ 5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Merrimack district court on Nov. 15. 

  • Elizabeth Shambo, 17, of Mallard Point, Merrimack, was charged with two counts of domestic-related criminal mischief. On Oct. 21, members of the Merrimack Police Department responded to a residence on Mallard Point for the report of a domestic disturbance. Upon officers arrival, an investigation was conducted and it was determined that Shambo damaged property at the residence during an argument. She was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to appear in Merrimack district court on Oct. 22 for arraignment.

  • Miranda Nelson, 27, of London Court was charged with two counts of domestic simple assault police say they responded to the London Court Apartments at 3:54 p.m. and arrested Miranda Nelson on a warrant for two counts of domestic simple assault. The warrant was based on an investigation of a domestic assault that was reported to Merrimack Police earlier in the day. It was reported that Nelson allegedly assaulted a family member at the residence during an argument on Oct. 7. She was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and she was scheduled to appear before the Merrimack district court on Oct. 22 for arraignment.
