COP LOG: Reports of Suspicious Man Trying to Wave Down Cars

The following information was provided by Merrimack Police. An arrest does not indicated a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 9, 2013

  • 9:27 a.m.: Read to students at Reeds Ferry School.
  • 11:37 a.m.: Report of a suspicious man attempting to flag down vehicles at Patten Road and Carrie Drive.
  • 12:08 a.m.: Responded to Daniel Webster Highway for a small brush fire.
  • 2:14 p.m.: Responded to Spartan Way for a hit and run accident without injury. No further information was provided.
  • 4:24 p.m.: Report of a missing 10-year-old.
  • 4:50 p.m.: Report of  person trying to wave down vehicles on Baboosic Lake at Patten roads.

Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013

  • 8:35 a.m.: Report of a  bus with wires on it on Canterbury Way.
  • 8:50 a.m.: Arrested Shawna Hanley, 25, of 110 Blackstone Drive in Nashua, on charges of operating after suspension and operating with a suspended registration.
  • 10:59 a.m.: Arrested Anthony Comire, 27, of 117 Valhalla Drive, Milford, on a charge of reckless operation.
  • 11:26 a.m.: Responded to Continental Boulevard for an a two-car accident. Drivers were Vincent Demeo of Plymouth, Mass., and Timothy Moore of Candia.
  • 3:33 p.m.: Responded to a reported car fire on the F.E. Everett Turnpike.
  • 4:04 p.m.: Report of dirt bikes drag racing on Whittier Road.
  • 5:23 p.m.: Report of a bear cub spotted on Savage Lane.
  • 8:26  p.m.: Responded to Bedford Road at the F.E. Everett Turnpike for a car versus motorcycle accident. Drivers were Esmeralda Tavarez of Manchester and Christopher Pearl of Merrimack.
  • 9:50 p.m.: Report of a sexual assault on Baboosic Lake Road.
  • 10:37 p.m.: Arrested Willaim Farrell, 52, of 76 Cherry Hollow Road, Nashua, charging him with stalking.
