Mass. Man Charged with Marijuana Possession
A Merrimack police officer said the man had marijuana in his car.
Merrimack police arrested a man from Lawrence, Mass., and charged him with possession and transportation of marijuana March 31.
Henry Alvarez Jr., 23, of 46 Bennington St., Lawrence, was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail. He has an April 27 court date.
The charge stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Greeley Street for an equipment violation, and Alvarez was arrested after an officer found Alvarez in possession of marijuana, within the car, police said.
