Nashua Man Charged in Road Rage Case

Merrimack police arrest Nashua man Sept. 24 after warrant issued.

Merrimack police have arrested a Nashua man in a road rage case, which allegedly occurred Sept. 12 on Camp Sargent Road.

Police identified the man as Chad Casey, 41, of 1 Beauview Ave., Nashua.

He turned himself into the police station Monday to face charges of reckless driving and disorderly conduct.

He has an Oct. 1 court hearing in the case.

According to Merrimack police, the incident began on Greeley Street, where the drive allegedly was cut off by another driver. Police say Casey followed the other drive on Camp Sargent Road, where he later passed the vehicle over a double yellow line and then stopped his vehicle suddenly in front of the other vehicle. He then got out of the car and threw an ice cream cone at the other driver, police said.

Chad Casey looks like a pretty mean individual and both parties are lucky that this did not result in a serious rear end collision or the other driver perhaps having headed off the road into a tree and dieing! Hopefully he will get the necessary help to help him control his anger issues.

I don't think we can judge someone by the way they look in their mugshot. It wasn't right what he did but just because he has a goatee doesn't clarify that his demeanor is mean or not. I don't argue the fact that a little anger management might benefit him.

Goatee or not, we are all entitled to our opinion. He looks pretty mean to me too, goatee or not goatee. His behavior speaks for itself.
