Minor Charged with OUIL, Possession of Alcohol, Drugs

The charges came after Merrimack police were called to a local fast food restaurant.

Merrimack police arrested a 19-year-old Merrimack man Sunday on charges of operating under the influence, possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of a controlled drug.

Police said Brandon Malloch, 19, of 11 Friar Tuck Court, Merrimack, was arrested July 6 after officers responded to a local fast food restaurant for a report of an intoxicated driver in the drive-through.

Officers arriving said they observed the vehicle in question leaving the window and pulling into a parking space.

Police said Malloch was behind the wheel, and he was charged after an investigation.

Police said Malloch also allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was later released on $3,500 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in court July 22 to answer to the charges, according to police.
