Nashua Man Charged With Conduct After Accident, False Report

Nashua police, after reviewing surveillance tapes, said the reported hit-and-run accident was actually a single-vehicle accident.

Merrimack police arrested a Nashua man on charges of conduct after an accident and false report to law enforcement after an accident July 1.

Police said Taylor Marshall, 20, of 18 Kinsley St., Nashua, was charged July 3 after he turned himself into the Merrimack Police Department.

He was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and has a July 31 court date.
The case stemmed from a report of an accident July 1 at the intersection of Daniel Webster Highway and Greeley Street.  Arriving officers reported finding a Ford F350 truck with significant damage.

Police said Marshall told officers he was traveling north on Route 3 when he was cut off by a vehicle leaving the State Farm Insurance nearby, and that it was a hit-and-run accident.

Police investigated further, including reviewing surveillance recordings in the area, and determined it was a single-vehicle accident in which Marshall struck a mailbox, according to police.
