Penacook Man Charged with Driving with Suspended License

Merrimack police say they stopped the driver for a motor vehicle violation and found his license was under suspension.

Merrimack police arrested a Penacook man on a charge of operating after suspension after a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation July 10.

Police said Jason Brooks, 35, of 12 Washington St., Penacook, was charged with operating after suspension, second offense.

An officer pulling Brooks over on Daniel Webster Highway found his license was suspended for a default on a court summons, according to police. 

Brooks refused bail and was taken to Hillsborough County jail. His arraignment was scheduled for July 10 at the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack.
