Woman Arrested for Spitting on Face of EMT, Police Officer

Merrimack woman is accused of spitting on the face of an officer and EMT responding to a medical call.

Merrimack police arrested a local woman and charged her with two counts of simple assault for spitting in the face of a town police officer and EMT who responded to her residence for a medical call.

Lisa Duval, 42, of 57 Greens Pond Road, Merrimack, was arrested March 25 on a warrant related to the incident Feb. 21, police said. Police responded to the residence to assist Merrimack Fire and Rescue with a medical call. While Fire and Rescue prepared Duval for transportation to a local hospital, she spit on the face of a police officer and an EMT, which led to the simple assault charges, according to police.

Duval was placed on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and she is scheduled to be arraigned April 15 in the 9th Circuit Court District Division in Merrimack.
