Woman Charged with Simple Assault, Breaching Bail Again

Sarah Vaskelionis has been arrested three times since March 24.

A Merrimack woman out on bail for allegedly assaulting a family member on March 23, has been arrested again on another assault charge and for breaching her bail conditions.

Sarah Vaskelionis, 31, of 22 Woodridge Road, Merrimack, was arrested Monday on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest and breach of bail conditions.

Police say they were called Monday to a  local residence for a reported assault that had just taken place at the home.

After a brief investigation, Vaskelionis was arrested for simple assault for punching the family member in the face and breach of bail conditions.

on a warrant for simple assault stemming from an incident on March 23. She was also charged on the 24th for driving while intoxicated. Police say an officer stopped her after noting that she was someone they had a warrant for. While talking with her, the officer noticed signs of impairment.

She was charged on March 27 after turning herself in on breach of bail conditions. Police say they were called on March 25, the day after Vaskelionis' first arrest and told she'd returned to the property where the assault took place. As part of her bail for simple assault, she'd been ordered to stay away from the residence where it occurred.

While the officer’s were in the process of arresting Vaskelionis, on Monday, May 13, they say she repeatedly attempted to pull away from the officers and was subsequently charged with resisting arrest.

Vaskelionis was placed on $2,000 cash-only bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in the 9th Circuit Court, District Division, in Merrimack on May 14.
