House Kills Bill Calling for Elimination of Exit 12 Tolls

Merrimack residents have long complained about the amount of tolls they have to pay.

The House has voted to kill a bill that would have closed the Exit 12 tolls, according to the Union Leader.

The bill had been approved by the Senate, but was rejected 201-72 on Thursday. Merrimack residents have long complained that they are forced to pay more tolls than other communities situated on state highways.
