Merrimack Public Library is hosting family events over April school vacation.

The Merrimack Public Library is hosting two fun family events over the April school vacation week. First up, for ages 3+ and caregivers, we are hosting another Movie Matinee Day on Tuesday, April 29th at 1:30 PM. Bring a lunch to the library, and we’ll put out the comfy seats for you to enjoy a movie on our big screen. This month, we’ll be watching a 1982 animated classic, the adaptation of Robert O’Brien’s Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. The film is rated G and runs 90 minutes. We’ll provide dessert!

Our second vacation event is for knights, princesses, lords and ladies, court jesters, wizards, and anyone who loves a good royal adventure: A Day at the Castle will take place on Thursday, May 1st from 4 PM – 5 PM, for ages 6-9.  Participants are invited to dress in their finest royal attire to enjoy a joust, battle a dragon, create a bejeweled goblet, and enjoy a ball and banquet.
