ESPN Honors Tyler Gendron as Player of Year

Senior helped lead Merrimack to Division 1 victory last weekend.

Tyler Gendron, Merrimack High School's star forward was named ESPN's pick for Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year for New Hampshire.

The 6'4", 195-pound senior was instrumental in helping to lead this year's squad to victory over Manchester Central in Saturday afternoon's 65-56

According to his accolades listed on ESPN's website, Gendron averaged 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks per game this season while maintaining a 4.03 GPA.
