Please Help Family of Christie Billodeau Fazio Who Died in Childbirth
Community members and friends of Christine Billodeau Fazio have raised more than $51,000 to help her husband, John, raise their baby boy Jonathan Lee.
Members of the Bedford Road Baptist Church congregation are mourning the loss of a mother who passed away after giving birth to her baby boy earlier this month.
According to the church's web site, Christie Billodeau Fazio passed away on Dec. 14 after giving birth to Jonathan Lee. Jennifer Billodeau, one of Christie's cousins, started a GoFundMe page to raise $55,000 to help Christie's husband, John, raise their son and cover other expenses. According to the page, friends and community members have raised more than $51,000 so far.
Jennifer Billodeau also wrote the following message on the GoFundMe page:
I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and kindness I have witnessed through this fundraiser for the Fazio family in memorial of my cousin Christie Billodeau Fazio. It is so amazing and heartwarming to know how strongly our family, friends, and community care for each other. Christie was the most beautiful person, inside and out. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could turn anyone’s day around, which was fitting for her line of work as a nurse… A career which she was truly passionate about.
