New Microbrewery Approved

Able Ebeneezer Brewing Co. owners are now free to renovate the interior of their new location at 31 Columbia Circle.

The Merrimack Planning Board wasted little time approving a site plan review waiver for the new Able Ebeneezer Brewing Co. on Tuesday night, which means town residents could enjoy new craft beer this spring.

“We got our approval so we’re ready to go,” said Carl Soderberg, one of the microbrewery's principal owners, on Wednesday morning.

He said they have already begun working on the interior of the building located at 31 Columbia Circle. Now the one thing they need to open in April is to get their federal and state licenses approved, he said.

"Typically, they have a 90-day turnaround and we submitted our application over a month ago," he said.

Soderberg said they have also talked with several restaurants from Nashua to Manchester and along Route 101 to sell their craft beer after their microbrewery opens.
