Scott Brown Unable to Make Merrimack Forum

The Merrimack Business Association forum is June 18 at Town Hall.

Scott Brown will not be participating in the U.S. Senate forum sponsored June 18 by the Merrimack Business Association, due to a scheduling conflict.

The Republican candidates' forum at Merrimack Town Hall will have Jim Rubens, Bob Smith and Karen Testerman talk about business issues, taxes and health care.

Dave McCray, chairman of the Merrimack Business Association, emailed the update May 9.

"At this time over 40 business leaders have committed to attending the event although some replies were contingent on all four candidates attending," McCray said. "We are happy to finally have a response so we can now focus on the planning of the event and the three candidates attending it. The Forum will be moderated by Merrimack resident Tom Young."

Tickets can be obtained by contacting Dave McCray at dmccray7@aol.com
