Church of Our Saviour Christmas Fair

The Church of Our Saviour in Milford will ring in the holiday season at its Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 7, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The annual event will feature homemade treats, gifts, decorations, activities for children, holiday displays, a luncheon and a visit from St. Nicholas himself.

One of the most popular spots at the Fair is sure to be the Children’s Room which will be stocked with gingerbread houses waiting to be decorated with fluffy frosting and all sorts of candies. Adults and children alike can satisfy their sweet tooth with a trip to the Cookie Shop where they can mix and match selections from a large variety of delectable holiday cookies.

Be sure to keep an eye out for St. Nicholas who will be available for photos while roaming the fair with his pocket full of chocolate coins.

The Outreach Room will once again feature displays showing how the Church of Our Saviour family reaches out through various ministries to aid those in need in the local community and around the world. This will also be where you can find African jewelry and crafts which will be for sale in support of the African Team Ministries relief missions in East Africa.

The church’s youth Workcamp group will be selling home-made chili- and soup-in-a-jar kits to help fund this coming summer’s  week-long mission trip where youth and adults will travel to Kittery, ME to perform challenging home repair projects for residents in need.

Homemade preserves, candies, breads, and sliced to order off-the-wheel Cabot Cheese will be available at the Country Store.  Find that unique hand-made gift, or pick up something special for yourself at the Craft Shop. Complete your day with a stop at the Village Café for a luncheon featuring homemade soups, assorted sandwich choices and delectable desserts.

See a variety of manger Nativity scenes as parishioners display their own crèche collections in the church’s sanctuary.
