A Maine man was arrested in Merrimack earlier this month for attempting to break into a home in town.

Cody Ubhaus, 21, of 110 Main Street, Sanford, Maine, was charged with criminal trespassing and simple assault when he was arrested in the early hours of Aug. 10.

Police say they responded to Templeton Court at 3:32 a.m. that Saturday morning for the report of two males attempting to break into a residence and assaulting a resident of the dwelling.
