Turkey Hill Road Re-Opened After Accident with Telephone Pole

Road was closed for more than 7 hours.

Turkey Hill Road has been re-opened as of 12:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, following a seven and a half hour road closure after a car struck and damaged a power pole not far from the intersection with McQuestion Road.

According to a police advisory sent out after midnight, the pole replacement by PSNH took longer than planned due to the fact that they encountered ledge while digging to reset the pole.

Police Sgt. Brian Levesque said Friday afternoon that no one was injured in the accident and he didn't expect any charges to be filed.
