Plan to Spend Saturday Celebrating All Things Merrimack

Merrimack Fall Festival and Business Expo and Merrimack Rocks will be a celebration of a great place to live.

This Saturday is a day not to miss as the community comes together to celebrate Merrimack.

The festivities kick off on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with the opening of the annual Merrimack Fall Festival and Business Expo.

The expo will be held at the Mastricola Complex on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine. There will be venues both inside and outside.

Admission is free and is open to everyone.

More than 125 businesses, organizations and crafters will be on hand to show residents from all over New Hampshire what Merrimack and surrounding communities have to offer, as they sell their goods and demonstrate their products, and of course, food will be available from many Merrimack restaurants.

There will be a live music extravaganza featuring Siroteau and The Curly Jones Band. There will also be dance demonstrations, karate demonstrations, K-9 demonstrations, Fire Department demonstrations and taser demonstrations.

Bernie Del Llano of Perfect Entertainment, who will also be overseeing karaoke throughout the day, will host this year’s event. The event will also have a lot of entertainment for children, with Red Sox Mascot Wally the Green Monster, McDonny’s Petting Farm and a lot more. Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras and have their pictures taken with Wally and the animals.

After the festival closes down, make your way to Watson Park for a brand new addition to the fall festival.

Timothy Gibson, who gave the ultimate sacrifice to help ensure that we can continue to live the American way of life.
